You can activate it in a few steps from the FordPass® app:

  • Open FordPass
  • Follow the steps to connect your vehicle
  • Tap the Profile icon in the top right corner
  • Tap Connected Services
  • Tap “Activate Now” under the Ford Connectivity Package tile

The package includes:

  • Wi-Fi® hotspot for up to 10 devices
  • Entertainment, such as karaoke and games
  • Video and audio streaming
  • Connected navigation with Google Maps
  • Voice assistant
  • Video conferencing

Available features and functionality vary by model, as do package pricing, included plan durations, and term lengths. Some features may only be available while the vehicle is parked.

The Connectivity Package is available as a one-time purchase that extends for a minimum of 7 years, with no additional monthly plan required. You can choose this option at the point of sale through your dealer or when ordering a new vehicle on ford.com. The one-time purchase is not available after the sale.

Yes. If you do not choose the one-time purchase at the point of sale, you can still activate your included year of the Connectivity Package in FordPass®. A credit card and auto-renew consent are required for activation, and FordPass Rewards points can also be applied to the purchase. Once the included year ends, you will be billed annually.

  • Included period: During your included year, you can opt out of auto-renew at any time.
  • Annual plan: If you pay for the annual plan, you can cancel within 14 days of activation for a 100% refund. After the first 14 days, you can still cancel at any time, but the purchase is non-refundable.
  • One-time purchase: If the package was activated as part of a one-time upfront purchase, cancellation is not available.

The Connectivity Package is tied to your specific Ford vehicle, so included and paid plans cannot be transferred or applied to any other Ford you own or purchase.

When you sell your Ford, the vehicle is master reset and the package is cancelled within 14 days. If you made a one-time upfront purchase, the package stays with the vehicle for a minimum of 7 years from the warranty start date, even after a master reset.

A master reset does not cancel your plan right away, but the plan will cancel automatically after 14 days if you do not take follow-up action. To keep your plan after a master reset, reauthorize the same vehicle modem (same VIN) to your same FordPass® account.

Yes. Removing your VIN from FordPass® automatically cancels your included or paid Connectivity Package plan.
