Ford Announces New “From America, For America” Program in Response to Tariffs

April 3rd, 2025 by

The recently implemented tariffs on the automotive industry are quickly having major effects on how automakers everywhere do business. Companies are reported to be idling production at international plants and even temporarily laying off workers in order to get through the upcoming changes. Ford Motor Company, however, is taking a different approach. As a proudly American company for the entirety of its lifespan, Ford is offering 2024-2025 model year vehicles, including gas, electric and hybrid vehicles, at the same discounted price available to Ford employees.

This new program has been named “From America, For America,” and was announced shortly after the implementation of President Donald Trump’s widespread tariff increases, which include a 25% U.S. tariff on foreign vehicles as well as tariff increases on U.S. trading partners worldwide. These taxes are expected to raise prices for American consumers on many different items, with analysts predicting that car prices could go up as much as $12,200.

The low prices of the “From America, For America” promotion will run from April 3rd through June 2nd, covering many Ford and Lincoln vehicles but excluding all Raptor models, the 2025 Expedition, the 2025 Navigator, and all Super Duty trucks. For those who are interested in a new vehicle but have been discouraged from shopping because of tariff-related price hikes, this promotion provides the perfect opportunity to get a quality new vehicle for an affordable price– truly the best of both worlds!

“We understand that these are uncertain times for many Americans,” Ford said in a statement to CBS News. “Whether it’s navigating the complexities of a changing economy or simply needing a reliable vehicle for your family, we want to help.”
