Ford’s decision to unlock access to over 15,000 Tesla Superchargers across the U.S. and Canada effectively doubles the availability of reliable DC fast charging options through its BlueOval Charge Network. For those eager to secure a complimentary Fast Charging Adapter, Ford encourages retail customers to place their orders before the June 30, 2024, deadline. Post this date, the adapter will be available for purchase at a reasonable cost of $230, covering estimated taxes and shipping. Spring will see Ford Pro commercial customers receiving communication via mail or through their Ford Pro account manager, detailing the process to order the Fast Charging Adapter. Once customers establish an account and activate Plug & Charge, Tesla Superchargers will effortlessly support Plug & Charge functionality with Ford EVs.
