In the challenging world of off-road navigation competitions, the Bronco® brand has yet again demonstrated its unrivaled Built Wild™ capability, with a remarkable achievement at the Rebelle Rally. The Ford Performance team of Melissa Clark and Jessica Moore secured an unprecedented fourth consecutive victory for the Bronco Sport in the X-CROSS Class, while Laura Wanlass and Maria Guitar clinched the bronze in the 4×4 Class, solidifying Ford’s prowess in off-road racing.

All Bronco teams achieved impressive results in the 4×4 Class, with every Bronco finishing in the top 10. In addition, the all-new Mustang Mach-E Rally made its successful debut at the Rebelle Rally, further showcasing Ford’s commitment to innovation and performance. With a silver-level sponsorship, Ford entered four Bronco SUVs along with the Mustang Mach-E Rally, making a significant impact on this year’s competition.

Mark Rushbrook, the global director of Ford Performance Motorsports, expressed pride in the achievements of the teams, highlighting their exceptional driving skills and hand-calculated navigation expertise. He emphasized that the Rebelle Rally not only demonstrates the capabilities, durability, and agility of Ford vehicles but also serves as a valuable testing ground for upcoming models, including the Mustang Mach-E Rally, Bronco Raptor, Bronco Wildtrak, and Bronco Sport.

The Bronco Raptor, a standout in the competition, consistently held a spot in the top five during each of the seven competition days. The team of Laura Wanlass and Maria Guitar, along with Ford ambassador Shelby Hall and Rori Lewis in the No. 150 Desert Roots Bronco Raptor, showcased the remarkable capabilities of the Bronco Raptor. Designed and engineered by Ford Performance, the Bronco Raptor is the world’s first Ultra4 Racing-inspired SUV, capable of conquering desert dunes at highway speeds and navigating challenging Baja rock-crawling terrain.

The No. 131 Team Velocity two-door Bronco WildTrak™, driven by 2022 X-CROSS Rookie of the Year winners Karisa Haydon and Trista Smith, faced an initial challenge but made a remarkable comeback through the rankings, ultimately finishing in an impressive sixth place. Their performance demonstrates the tenacity and skill of the Bronco WildTrak™ in demanding off-road conditions.

In the X-CROSS class, the Clark-Moore duo and the No. 202 Mustang Mach-E® Rally, driven by Bailey Campbell and Kaleigh Miller, fiercely competed and jockeyed inside the top five. These two teams exchanged the top spot at approximately the halfway mark of the competition. Campbell and Miller’s outstanding performance ultimately secured a fifth-place finish for the electric Mustang Mach-E Rally® in its debut appearance at the Rebelle Rally. This remarkable achievement showcases Ford’s dedication to electrification and the brand’s commitment to delivering performance in the electric vehicle segment.

The Rebelle Rally is not just a competition but also a platform to test the mettle of vehicles and demonstrate their capabilities. Ford’s participation and success in the event underscore the brand’s commitment to pushing boundaries and redefining the limits of off-road adventure.

The Bronco Sport’s fourth consecutive victory at the Rebelle Rally is a testament to Ford’s commitment to innovation, performance, and the Built Wild™ spirit. The remarkable performances of all Bronco teams and the successful debut of the Mustang Mach-E Rally highlight the brand’s dedication to providing exceptional vehicles for a wide range of off-road adventures. Ford’s presence and success at the Rebelle Rally reinforce its position as a leader in the off-road and electric vehicle segments. As Ford continues to push the boundaries of what is possible, the future looks exciting for off-road enthusiasts and fans of electric vehicles alike.
