Ford Selects Plant in Valencia, Spain to Produce EVs

Ford’s ambitions to become leaders of EV development extend to Europe as well as America. Plans include an electric version of the popular Ford Puma, electric Ford Pro vehicles, and EV specific connected services. This week another step was made towards an all-electric future in Europe. Ford of Europe has announced that they have selected a plant in Valencia, Spain to be the home of the next generation of Ford electric vehicles in Europe based on a next-generation electric vehicle architecture. The Valencia plant could be producing revolutionary vehicles by the end of the decade.\

Ford Adds New Jobs to Support Ford+ and New Vehicles

United Auto Workers and Ford Motor Company have recently announced plans to add over 6,200 new manufacturing jobs in the Midwest, as well as shifting almost 3,000 temporary UAW-Ford workers to permanent full-time status, and providing healthcare benefits to all hourly employees. These new plans are intended to bolster growth for Ford+ and will contribute to the development of an all-new global Mustang coupe, a Ranger pickup for North America, and an all-new electric commercial vehicle especially for Ford Pro customers.
